Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American actress and comedian. She was the winner of 2008 on the NBC show Last Comic Standing. She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.

 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. In 2022, she's published six comedy specials for Netflix. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show.

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to a Jewish family from New York City. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved when she was a newborn. She attended Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she learned Spanish and was a part of the school's improvisation club.

 Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas. She also studied at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She also participated in Semester at Sea. After that, she was accepted to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. Here she majored film. While at Emerson College, she improved her editing and writing abilities as well as was a part of Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a campus comedy sketch group.

 After graduation from college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was among the most popular performers in the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage of The Improv in Hollywood.
