Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18th, 1985 in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister from the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks following her very first tryout. In 2003, Felix completed her high school graduation and signed a professional deal with the company that makes sports Adidas and then enrolled at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary school. Felix's first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics at Athens Greece. Felix set the record of world juniors for the 200m race in 22.18 secs. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the 200-meter race. She won the title the following year, by beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 throughout her events in the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
