Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson was born July 7th, 1968. She is an American actress who is famous for her performances in Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor, and Josie Watts on the NBC soap show Another World.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois in DuPage County Illinois which is near Chicago. Her family was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers in the school. Carlson is of Swedish descent, but has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career and college
She first came to Hollywood through her work as a background actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim and Winona Ryder. Later, she accompanied her older sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
